ObjectLand delivery set

GIS ObjectLand is a software product intended for working under 32-byte Windows operating systems (Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 95/98/ME).

A standard ObjectLand delivery set includes a disk containing a distributive set of files including documentation. The delivery set can be also provided with a printed copy of documentation.

There is also a compact type of ObjectLand distributive. It is a single EXE-file which execution results in unpacking of distributive files and startup of the installation process. This file is accessible, in particular, at the network address http://www.gis-objectland.com. The file name is Objectland.X.Y.Z.exe (where sequence X.Y.Z denotes the number of ObjectLand version being installed). The compact distributive variant capabilities do not differ from those of the distributive on CD-ROM.

ObjectLand files can be divided into the following groups:

The minimal set of files includes program modules and shared style library (though theoretically ObjectLand can work without the shared library).

ObjectLand COM interfaces are used in development of Windows applications which use functional capabilities of ObjectLand. These interfaces are not required for ObjectLand work as such. Documentation on COM interfaces can be of interest for developers of applications.
