Before starting to browse and change data of some GDB the user should perform the operation of opening this GDB or, in other words, make the present GDB current.
GDB opening is a multi-version operation. To meet the users needs in different situations the system offers several GDB open modes at one's discretion.
Actually, GDB open mode determines the system actions not only when opening it, but in further work with opened GDB as well. For example, the open read only mode prohibits the execution of some operating changing GDB structure or data.
