For changing the GDB name the menu command GDB+Rename should be used. First a dialog box “Select GDB for renaming” which is analogous to the dialog “Open GDB” will be opened. In this box GDB for renaming should be selected and the button Open should be pushed. For entering a new name the system opens a dialog “New name of GDB” (figure 6-3). After entering the new name and pushing OK the system will rename all nine files comprising GDB.

Experienced users know that Windows enables renaming of files right on the dialog window pane, for example, in the window “Open file”. On no account use this facility in the dialog box “Select GDB for renaming” since only one file from nine will be renamed. In this dialog you should only select GDB and assign a new name in the window “New GDB name”.
It is impossible to rename GDB which is current at the present moment. First all the users should close this GDB.
