The pane Coordinate system allows selection one of the two generally accepted coordinate systems for displaying maps. These systems differ in axes orientation: geodetic system (X – vertical axis, Y – horizontal) or mathematical one (X – horizontal axis, Y – vertical). It should be kept in mind that changing of axes orientation does not result in image rotation, but only in the change of symbols for horizontal and vertical coordinates, X to Y and vice versa.
