This page enables the user to select the values of page sizes of disk memory used when creating files of a new GDB. Page sizes are inner parameters of the system, however, they affect the maximum file size of GDB and also affect the system performance. It is recommended to select the minimum page size providing the required maximum size of a particular GDB which is created.
At figure 8-3 sizes of pages and files used by ObjectLand by default are shown.

In table 8-1 the recommended page sizes of GDB files are given. In most cases these values provide effective system work. An experienced user can try to select other size values optimal for a particular GDB and computer. The maximal page size of the file is equal to 65024 bytes which corresponds to the allowed file size about 4 gigabytes.
