To perform export of ObjectLand data to an external file, it is required to do the following:
select the source component – GDB component the contents of which should be exported (for example, a table, a map or a theme, a layer or feature type of a map or theme);
perform the command Export. Nested menus opened after performing this command serve for refining the format of data being exported and possibly the export mode;
implement procedure of setting and executing export. This procedure consists of several steps and permits performing export setting and exporting data from source component to the export file.
To select the source component of the data being exported the navigation window should be used.
Export of spatial data from a theme is performed similarly to performing export from a map, the only difference is that when determining a set of features subject to export theme structure is taken into account (a set of layers and feature types of a theme, presence of a filter). Later, everything which is said about export from ObjectLand maps will be also referred to export from cataloged themes. By analogy, the notion of export of attributive data from ObjectLand table includes export of data from a cataloged query.
The procedure of export setting is implemented using a wizard, it consists of several steps. The appropriate page of export wizard corresponds to every step. All possible steps are enumerated below.
