MIF file contains a list of features which can belong to different spatial categories. MIF file can also contain description of table data structure, table records are stored in the file with MID extension. When performing export it is possible either to create an individual MIF file for every ObjectLand feature type being exported or export all features in one MIF file not distinguishing feature types of the same spatial category. For every feature type a linked table which will be exported to MID file can be indicated.
