To perform sewing it is necessary to do the following things:
determine which feature types of map should be sewed and in which place of the map (that is, the sewing region);
select a map or one of its components depending on features subject to sewing;
perform the command Tools+Sewing. After that the procedure of setting and performing sewing is started. It consists of several steps;
perform setting of sewing and execute it;
estimate sewing results visually and according to report file. If the results are unsatisfactory, one should perform rollback and repeat sewing having edited the necessary features or having changed sewing parameters.
