Shared access to GDB and shared library

ObjectLand provides a possibility of simultaneous work of several users in local network with one and the same GDB. Thus, users can not only browse data, but change it simultaneously. It does not lead to conflicts until all the users work with different data elements. A conflict may occur, for example, when two users try to change one and the same map feature or table record simultaneously. In such cases the system may cancel changing operation performed by one of the users and generate a message about it.

To avoid more serious conflicts the system introduces limitations on changing the GDB structure in shared access mode. In particular, any changes in the users list can be performed in exclusive access mode only.

By analogy, shared access to shared style library is possible. Appropriate mode is set not depending on the shared access mode to GDB.
