Copying layout display to the clipboard or to the file allows the user to transfer the whole layout in other Windows applications (for example, in image editors) to be processed further. Copying of layout display is similar to copying theme display described in chapter 12 “Themes”, subsection “Additional tools for map browsing”. The menu command Tools+Copy to Clipboard of the window of layout editor permits the user to transfer graphic representation of the layout to Windows clipboard in format of bitmap files (BMP) or enhanced metafile (EMF). The command Tools+Save to File opens a standard dialog of saving a file. The user can choose one of commonly used graphic formats, such as BMP, EMF, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG and TGA formats.
