This page of the chart property sheet (figure 49-14) permits the user to control arrangement of the legend to the chart. A legend is a list of all data series of the chart with style samples used for displaying every series. An example of two charts with legends is given at figure 49-1.

In the field Position one can set one of the variants of legend arrangement with respect to graphic part of the chart: on the left, on the right, on top or at the bottom. The appropriate variant is chosen in the drop-down list. It is also possible not to display the legend.
The button Style allows for selection of elements for displaying the legend: fill/hatch style for legend background, line style for the frame, label style in the legend, including font, height of labels and sizes of indents.
The field Line spacing factor specifies the value of the factor of distance between legend elements (along horizontal and vertical axes) to the sizes of the element itself.
