The pane Style allows selection of any fonts available in the shared style library or in the current GDB library. By default a simple system font is used.
In the pane Height text height in a cell which is measured in table units is specified. The height should not be more than 10 units.
The button Color permits choosing the text color.
In the pane Alignment the user can choose one of the three variants of aligning the text horizontally (left, right, or center) and one of the three variants of aligning the text vertically (top, bottom, or center).
Another way of specifying the font and alignment is connected with using the formatting toolbar.
Having selected the necessary cells the user can select the font from the drop-down list which contains all fonts from the shared style library. The first in the list comes the font <default>, that is, the system font.
It is also possible to specify the text height in the input field located near or select the text color using the button
. To select an arbitrary color it is necessary to click the right part of the button marked by a triangular sign. Selected color is shown on the button in the form of a small bar under a letter and can be used repeatedly clicking the left part of the button.
To align text in selected cells the button
can be used. After pushing it, the system shows samples of all nine possible combinations of aligning the text horizontally and vertically, the user can choose the necessary alignment variant. The menu command Format+Alignment provides similar possibilities of alignment with one exception – instead of samples of alignment the system offers a nested menu with text description of nine possible variants.
