Window “Table contents”

To change table structure and determine the values displayed in cells the menu command Element+Edit of the layout editor window should be used. This command is enabled only in the case if the table is an active element of the editor window.

When performing this command the system opens a window “Table contents” shown at figure 48-3.

This window is modal, that is, the user cannot work with other opened ObjectLand windows until he closes the window “Table contents”.

The window allows the user to enter changes into the table being changed which can be subdivided into the following categories:

The upper part of the window contains a menu bar and toolbars enabling the user to perform operations with a table and its cells.

The status bar in which the main properties of selected table cell are displayed is located below.

The main part of the window is occupied by table pane containing a rectangular array of all table cells. If the table does not fit into the pane, scroll bars appear at the bottom and to the right of the pane.

The user has a possibility to perform setting of control elements of the window (menus, toolbars, shortcut keys). Executing the setting is described in detail in chapter 12 “Themes”, subsection “Customizing window control elements”.
