To add a new element – text containing one or several lines, into a layout, the button
in the mode toolbar should be clicked. Then the user should indicate a rectangle in the editing pane inside of which the text will be placed. For this purpose it is required to press the mouse button in one of the corners of this rectangle and release the button in the opposite corner. Actually, only the height of the rectangle is important, because its length will be automatically corrected by the longest line of the text.
After building the rectangle the system opens a dialog box “Adding/Properties of text” (figure 46-1) which allows the user to enter text lines, select the font and color, specify the height and slope angle of the bounding box. If the user refuses to specify properties (for example, pushes the button Cancel), adding of text is canceled.

Height and length of the bounding box are recalculated automatically depending on selected font, font height, length and number of text lines.
