Filling editor (figure 83-1) serves for creation and editing fill style. The editor window contains several panes:

editing pane – the main pane of the window. It is used for displaying and editing fill style pattern;
toolbar contains buttons – tools for editing style;
pane of line width allows the user to set the current line width;
palette permits setting the current color;
sample pane displays reduced image of the filling being edited;
status bar shows the current editing tool and current position of the cursor in the editing pane.
Access to commands for modification of fill style is achieved through the toolbar and menu bar.
