Removing calculated fields can be performed using the following methods:
the command Fields+Remove calculated in the table browser window allows removing the calculated field. To do this it is necessary to select the calculated field for removing before performing the command.
dialog box “Calculations by field” (figure 29-2) allows the user to remove the calculated fields overriding the selected primary field by clearing the appropriate checkboxes in the dialog box;
the command button Remove all on the page “Calculation” of the property sheet “Properties of query” (figure 29-3) permits removing all calculated fields.
It should be noted that removing the last calculated field overriding the primary field will eliminate overriding. If the primary field is not hidden, it falls into the calculation group, the calculation group will change which will cause recalculation of the remaining calculated fields.
